If a picture is worth a thousand words, then how much is a screencast worth? For those who are unsure, screencasting is a process by which the user writes/draws on the screen while talking, and the device records all of this and makes it into a movie. Khan academy has been using screencasts to present their tutorials, but this is not the only way we can use screencasting in our classrooms. Come find out how to use different screencasting tools in your classroom, whether it is used by the teacher or student. We will also look at how the core competencies can be realized when using these tech tools. Please bring an iPad to use for this session.
