Core French: Where Do I Start?- A Mentoring Session for Beginning Teachers

This session is designed for new elementary classroom teachers who are looking for ideas to teach Core French in Grades 5 to 7.  Participants will try out a variety of interactive and engaging communicative strategies that can be implemented immediately in the classroom, and easily modified to suit any common theme in Core French.  Participants do not need to be bilingual in English and French to attend this session.  There will be opportunities to take risks, participate, and speak French in a supportive environment. This session is intended for teachers in their first five years.
